A new desalination device turns seawater into drinkable water at a rate higher than any other device
One Can learn that, Chinese scientists at Shanghai Jiao Tong, working with MIT, engineered a new desalination device. It turns seawater into drinkable water at a rate higher than any other device. The system is passive, & solar-powered.
A system the size of a small suitcase meets the daily needs of a small family, producing 4 to 6 liters of freshwater per hour.
By some estimates, the water production rate and price are cheaper than tap water.
